前彎葉片離心風機運行速（sù）度相對（duì）較低，通常適用於大風量、低靜壓的工況（kuàng）。典型的流量範圍為30%-80% WOCMS(全敞口流量),最高的（de）靜壓效率為60%-68%，通（tōng）常發生於（yú）靜壓最大值的稍（shāo）右側。功率曲線具有增加的傾向，是“易過載型”風機。前彎葉片離心風機的優點是（shì）造價低、轉速低，可選用較細的軸和較小的軸承，且具有較寬的操作範圍。缺（quē）點是性（xìng）能曲（qǔ）線形狀可能與管網阻力（lì）曲線平行，且係統靜壓降低（dī）可能導致電機過（guò）載。另外，葉片結構強度較低，不能運行於較高的轉速。
